Nizakat's Vision
A stable store for a stable family
Nizakat Ali is a small business owner running a karyana (general) store in Basti Lashari, Sardargarh, Rahim Yar Khan. As the sole earner for a family of six, Nizakat carries full responsibility for household expenses and dependents. Despite limited resources, he has maintained his shop while supporting a disabled father, a young child, and a younger brother who was forced to leave school due to financial constraints.
Nizakat's goal is to grow his shop into a stable source of income that can sustain his family, restore his brother's education, and meet essential medical needs at home.
The Challenge
Constrained by limited stock
Limited Stock: The shop carries a very small inventory and lacks seasonal products, which reduces customer visits and limits overall sales.
Financial Pressure: Nearly all profits are used to cover essential household expenses, limiting the ability to save or reinvest.
Growth Constraints: Without upfront capital, Nizakat cannot add seasonal goods, cosmetics, or higher-profit items that customers demand.
The Impact
Dignity through stability
With upfront capital of 80,000 PKR, Nizakat Ali can expand his shop's inventory to include seasonal goods and a wider product range, increasing daily sales and stabilizing his income.
This stability extends beyond the business: it allows him to re-enroll his younger brother in school and consistently support his father's medical needs.
The loan transforms short-term financial relief into long-term family security and dignity.
